Description: Teledyne is looking for a Training Specialist to manage the overall Training function of the company, including but not limited to the creation, implementation and training for all levels and departments of the organization. This person will also be responsible for the design, development, facilitation, monitoring and evaluation of the progress of various training and development programs. Job Duties: • Training development & implementation for various company departments (research, develop & design course). • Identify, liaise & schedule internal & external training for current employee and new hires. • Coordinate and liaise with external vendors to meet training needs. • Responsible for administering and tracking the FAA/DOT drug & alcohol program. • Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials (handouts). • Training administration (monitor, track & organize training records & track effectiveness); provide managerial reports. • Provide training data for internal & external company audits. • Monitor training costs to ensure budget is not exceeded. Job Requirements: • 3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred; 4-year degree strongly desired • Experience with California’s ETP program and E-Training. • Knowledge of mandated FAA Repair station training requirements highly desired. • Strong critical thinking and communication skills. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Access, as well as entire Microsoft Office Suite. • Detail oriented who can multitask, multiplex and prioritize efficiently. • Able to work independently for long periods of time with minimal supervision.
