Description: Primary responsibilities: Drive the company toward developing new products and services, capturing new programs and customers, and penetrating new and existing markets. Leverage the company’s expertise, technologies or other intellectual property to expand their capacities for identifying, researching, analyzing and bringing to market new services and new products. Implementation of the strategic business plan; acquisition/divestiture of technologies, products, and companies; establishment of strategic partnerships where appropriate. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of organization. Understanding or experience in/of a "World Class" or "Lean" manufacturing environment preferred. BSEE required. MSEE or MBA preferred. Minimum of 15 years Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, and Program Management experience with history or evidence of strong management skills. • Manage sales, marketing, proposal development and other business development activities for business unit's services and products, to include forecasting of new business orders and sales – 50% • Take a leadership role in developing strategies and implementing tactics to expand the business capabilities, services and products - 30% • Provide leadership and guidance to improve and enhance Program Management, Product Development and Operations – 10% • Support Senior Management in corporate activities – 5% • Participate in operational and financial excellence programs - 5% Willingness to travel, including internationally, a minimum of 25% of the time. Previous secret clearance would be ideal to service the Defense and Aerospace customer base. Computer skills to include Microsoft Office. Experience with a Contact Management program helpful.
