TELEDYNE RELAYS is currently seeking a talented professional to join an innovative leader in electro-mechanical devices as a CONTRACT/PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR.
This position will ensure that major OEM Customers-Channel Partner business is completed on time by interfacing with a group of cross-functional team members from Engineering, Operations, Finance and Sales.
The candidate’s primary function will be to increase the efficiency of the sales team for the contract review process, pricing, communication to the customers, recommend strategies to improve overall profitability and mission objectives.
This candidate must take the initiative to drive programs to completion and handle work of diverse scope and complexity. Candidate will be directly responsible for the success of in-house contracts, coordination with the cross-functional team to meet the key event timelines for new business and communicate with major clients.
Essential requirements of the position are:
• Provide CONTRACT SUPPORT: have the ability to manage the contract process by comprehending OEM-Channel Partner agreements, analyze key issues within deadline. Ability to demonstrate excellent capacity to follow outlined review process and enhance awareness of customer issues/ concerns by participating in planning activities meetings.
• Provide PRICING SUPPORT by conducting, creating, performing analysis and evaluations of new and existing price models while working with an internal team for price request and lead time
• Be able to COMPREHEND AND ANALYZE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES and offer guidance to HQ sales in identifying key elements for contract business
• Provide SALES ANALYSIS in tracking win-loss-pending quotes, backlog review and win-loss ratios
• Handle the preliminary REVIEW of MAJOR QUOTES AND PURCHASE ORDERS before the routing to various divisions for sign off and acceptance
• Coordinate team meetings, minute notes, follow-up with the process for OEM contracts and technical business reviews with both the internal CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TELEDYNE TEAM and external customers
• Other non-essential duties may apply as needed
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years experience in Contracts/Program Adminstration pertaining to electronic components and able to comprehend Hi-Rel space, Military, Industrial, RF, Aviation, Telecom and Contract Manufacturing markets.
A Bachelor’s degree in Administration or equivalent is required, and the candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. This position requires a lot of interface with customers, channel partners, and Relays’ cross-functional teams (marketing, engineering, operations, FAE, customer service personnel and program management).
Experience with MS Office (Word, Power Point, Outlook, Access database, Share Point), specifically strong in EXCEL is a plus!
