Description: The essential functions of this position include electronics packaging, thermal analysis, vibration and mechanical design. Typical design projects will center around Vacuum as well as Solid State Technology. A BS degree in Engineering with 5 – 10 years experience in thermal analysis and manufacturing is required. Individual should have working knowledge of 3D, CAD, FEA, and CFD software, as well as FEA/CFD modeling experience of electronic enclosures for thermal, vibration and strength concerns for harsh environments. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in addition to the ability to perform cost analysis and provide technical proposals. Tools used will include bench top microscope, measurescope and various small hand tools. Additional duties as assigned. Secret Clearance Required.
