Description: Teledyne Monitor Labs, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) is seeking a Full Time Engineer for its Gibsonia, PA office. As a member of the Teledyne Monitor Labs team the responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: • Independently conduct analysis of electrical and electronic hardware for complex instrumentation systems. • Design embedded systems hardware and firmware. • Write and execute test plans for hardware and systems to verify and validate design output. • Conduct various testing as required. • Support production by selecting replacement parts or doing reverse engineering to address parts obsolescence. • Maintain ISO procedures and work instructions. • Some travel required. Qualifications: • Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. • 2+ years of professional/related work experience. • Strong analytical skills. • Ability to work as a member of a team and interface with field support personnel. • Experience and/or professional education with digital and analog electronic hardware. • Ability in standard software packages such as Excel, Word, etc. • Some knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation software. • Good dexterity and a willingness to assemble and debug prototypes. • Ability to use oscilloscopes and digital multimeters. • Experience with logic analyzers, LabView, and other test and measurement devices a plus. • Knowledge of USB standards, FPGA hardware and VHDL languages, LVDS hardware, C/C++, and/or Coldfire a plus.
